Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 tart apples, peeled and sliced
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Combine 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, water and cinnamon in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Slice into pan and mix.
    Blend remaining 1/2 cup sugar, flour, salt and butter until crumbly.
    Spread over apples; pat smooth.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 40 to 45 minutes, until apples are tender and crust nicely browned.
