Peach Glace Pie(Microwave) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. sliced, peeled peaches or 1 (29 oz.) can peach slices, drained and cut up
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 1/2 c. peach nectar
1 crust pie shell
whipped cream
whole strawberry
Preparation

In a 4 cup measure, stir together sugar, cornstarch, orange peel and nutmeg.
Add peach nectar; mix well.
Cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring each minute until mixture starts to thicken,
then every 30 seconds until bubbly.
Cook, uncovered, on High for 30 seconds more.
Stir in vanilla.
Cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
Arrange peaches in cooled pie shell.
Pour liquid mixture evenly over fruit.
Chill for 2 hours.
Dollop with whipped cream.
Garnish with strawberry.
Serves eight.
