Mother'S Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 oz. baking chocolate
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt together chocolate and shortening. Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar, then chocolate mixture.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add gradually to chocolate.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes in a greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
