Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. cabbage
    1 sweet pepper
    1 onion
    1/4 c. salt
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Put salt on cabbage, onion and pepper. Let stand 30 minutes and drain off water. Mash with hands. Add sugar. Cover and put in fridge.
