Prune Cake And Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. prunes, cooked and chopped
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Combine sugar, oil, and eggs in mixing bowl; beat on medium speed with electric mixer 1 minute.
    Dissolve soda and buttermilk; set aside.\tCombine flour and spices; add to sugar mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
    Mix well after each addition.
    Stir in vanilla, prunes, and pecans.
    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean; cool.
