Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1 stick butter
    2 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    2 sticks butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    7 bananas
    1 qt. Cool Whip
    1 c. maraschino cherries
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix 2 cups graham cracker crumbs and 1 stick butter; press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Beat together for 20 minutes (no less) the powdered sugar, eggs, 2 sticks butter and vanilla.
    Spread this on crust.
    Slice bananas lengthwise; lay on top of this. Spread Cool Whip on top of bananas, then add cherries and nuts. Chill 2 to 3 hours before serving.
