Easy Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
    1 lg. onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 (16 oz.) cans hot chili beans, drained
    2 (16 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
    2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    16-32 oz. tomato juice (depending on consistency you prefer)
    1-2 Tbsp. sugar
    jalapenos - optional
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic cloves over medium heat, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain grease. Place mixture in 5 qt. slow cooker. Stir in beans and remaining ingredients. Cook on high 3 to 4 hours or on low 5 to 6 hours. If cooking on top of stove, simmer about 1 1/2 hours.
