Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1 c. diced cooked ham or 1 c. fried bacon, coarsely crumbled
    1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
    4 slightly beaten eggs
    1/2 to 1 c. milk or cream
Preparation
    Cover bottom of crust with meat and cheese.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour into shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat and continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes more.
    Serve hot as main luncheon dish with a salad.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
