Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. margarine

Preparation

Mix sugar, milk, and salt; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook until soft ball is formed when dropped into water. Add vanilla, peanut butter, and margarine. Beat until it loses some of its gloss. Quickly spread in a lightly buttered 8 or 9 inch pan.
