Coconut-Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    2 tsp. coconut extract
    1 c. oil
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    Combine sugar, oil and eggs. Beat well. Combine dry ingredients and buttermilk; mix well. Stir in walnuts, coconut and extract. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Pour hot syrup over hot cake. Keep in pan for 4 hours.
