Luscious Apple Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. light margarine
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. lite salt
2/3 c. light margarine
1/2 c. diluted skimmed evaporated milk
2 1/2 c. shredded apples (about 3 medium)
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan.
Stir well.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
Stir in 2 tablespoons margarine; set aside.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut 2/3 cup margarine into flour mixture with fork or pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal.
Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
Knead lightly 4 to 5 times.
