Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter flavored Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 whole eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add salt, vanilla and eggs one at a time, beating well.
    Add flour and 3/4 cup buttermilk.
    Add soda to remaining buttermilk and fold into mixture.
    Bake in greased and wax paper-lined 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Cut off heat for last 10 minutes. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes.
    Turn out on rack and finish cooling.
