Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. minced green pepper
2/3 c. minced onion
1/3 c. minced celery
2 c. uncooked macaroni
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
1/2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
pinch black pepper
2 Tbsp. butter melted and still warm
optional 1/2 c. thin sliced scallions
Preparation

Prepare green pepper, celery and onion while macaroni cooks according to package directions; drain but do not rinse.
In small bowl combine mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper; slowly blend in milk; stir in butter and toss the dressing with the still warm macaroni.
Mix in vegetables; chill overnight.
Add scallions before serving.
