Blueberry Cornbread - cooking recipe

3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 c. floured blueberries
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Sift together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar.
Add buttermilk.
Beat in egg and shortening.
Fold in
blueberries.
Pour into a well-greased 9-inch skillet and bake 35 minutes.
