Sausage Cornbread Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground sausage
    1/2 large onion, chopped
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. Martha White buttermilk self-rising cornmeal mix
    1 can cream-style corn
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Grease a 10 1/2-inch skillet or 2-quart baking dish.
    Set aside.
    Brown sausage and onion in medium skillet; drain well. Combine eggs, cornmeal, corn, milk and oil. Pour half of the cornmeal mixture into prepared dish; sprinkle with sausage mixture and cheese.
    Pour remaining batter over top. Bake 30 to 40 minutes.
    Let cool 10 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
