Triple Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

4 squares (4-oz.) unsweetened chocolate
2 (3-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. salt
1 pound confectioners sugar, sifted
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Line an 8-inch square pan with foil or waxed paper.
Melt chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until creamy.
Add vanilla and salt.
Gradually add sugar and beat until smooth.
Beat melted chocolate into cream cheese mixture, add nuts and mix well.
Pour into prepared pan.
Refrigerate until firm (about 1 hour).
Cut into squares.
