Cheeseburger Logs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. crisp rice cereal
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. ketchup
8 hot dog buns
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 egg
sharp cheese

Preparation

Combine ground beef, cereal, bread crumbs, ketchup, salt, pepper and egg.
Mix well.
Form into 8 logs to fit buns.
Make groove down center of each log.
Cut cheese into narrow strips. Press into groove.
Broil 3 to 5-inches from heat, 10 to 15 minutes or until done.
Serve in buns.
Serves 8.
