Chicken Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 chicken breasts
    flour
    1 can chicken mushroom soup
    1/2 can milk
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 can water
    1 (8 oz.) can mixed veggies
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Put 2 tablespoons shortening in skillet.
    Split chicken breast into 4 pieces; remove skins.
    Lightly flour and brown breasts. Remove breasts; pour off shortening.
    In skillet mix chicken mushroom soup, water, milk and thyme.
    Stir well.
    Add mixed veggies (drained) and parsley.
    Simmer 5 more minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Serves 2.
