Quick White Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. white syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg white
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together salt, sugar, syrup and water.
    Stir over heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a slight boil.
    Beat egg white until fluffy.
    Gradually pour hot syrup over beaten egg white.
    Continue beating egg white.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat until icing stands in peaks.
