Spiced Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. onions, chopped fine
1 c. chopped green peppers
1/2 c. raisins
2 c. rice (not instant)
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 qt. chicken broth
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add onions, green pepper and raisins; saute until tender.
Stir in rice and spices.
Brown slightly.
Add broth; mix well.
Bring to a boil.
Cover with tight fitting lid; simmer for 14 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Toss lightly and serve.
