Eula Mae Westbrook'S Frozen Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fruit cocktail
    1 tsp. unflavored gelatin
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. whipping cream
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Drain
    fruit.
    Soak
    gelatin
    in lemon juice, then dissolve over hot water.
    Blend cream cheese with mayonnaise and salt. Stir
    in
    gelatin.\tWhip
    the cream until stiff, adding sugar gradually.\tFold
    in
    cheese
    mixture,
    nuts and fruit. Pour
    into baking
    pan
    lined with wax paper and freeze for 4 hours
    in
    top of refrigerator.
    Cut into squares and serve on lettuce.
