Buffet Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless sirloin, cut into 1-inch strips
    1 1/2 c. mushroom pieces
    1/2 c. green peppers, sliced
    1/2 c. onions, sliced
    1/2 c. olive oil or butter
    2 c. beef stock
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. no-fat sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Saute beef in olive oil or butter until brown.
    Add mushrooms, peppers and onions.
    Saute.
    Add beef stock (if stock is made from cubes, reduce salt to 1/2 teaspoon.) Simmer 15 minutes.
    Mix flour and sour cream.
    Add to beef mixture, stirring well to thicken. Simmer an additional 15 minutes.
    Serve over hot buttered noodles. Serves 6 to 8 people.
