Plain And Simple Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 egg
2 1/2 Tbsp. corn oil
Preparation

Heat oiled 10-inch iron skillet.
Sift together the first 4 ingredients.
Add milk, then unbeaten egg and mix well.
Heat oil and add.
Turn into hot skillet.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
