Carrot Thyme Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chicken stock
    1 1/2 lb. carrots, cut up
    1 onion, minced
    3/4 stick butter, unsalted
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. fresh thyme, minced
    nutmeg to taste
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine the stock and the carrots.
    Bring the stock to a boil.
    Simmer the carrots, covered for 20 minutes or until they are tender.
