Cherry Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    6 oz. cream cheese
    2 c. flour
    2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Melt cheese and butter.
    Mix together and add flour; knead with hands like bread dough.
    Refrigerate 1 to 3 hours.
    Roll into walnut size balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet; press with thumb.
    Add cherry.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Make white frosting with milk, powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Drizzle over cookies when cool.
