Maggie'S Special Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. water
    2 c. seedless green grapes, halved
    2 medium apples, cored and chopped
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In a small saucepan mix sugar and cornstarch.
    Then blend in 1 cup water and the vinegar.
    Cook, stirring, until boiling and thickened.
    Transfer to a small bowl.
    Cover.
    Refrigerate until chilled.
