Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 c. popped popcorn (1 1/2 c. unpopped)
Preparation
    Boil sugar, margarine, syrup,
    salt and cream of tartar until a hard ball forms in cold water.
    Remove from burner and stir
    1 teaspoon soda (will foam).
    Pour over popped popcorn. Place in
    a large pan and bake 1 hour at 200\u00b0.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
