Pavlova - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites, at room temperature
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. white wine vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. heavy cream, chilled
    2 to 3 c. strawberries, sliced and sprinkled with sugar
    Grand Marnier
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 275\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar together in bowl until the whites hold a stiff peak.
    Add the sugar gradually, beating until mixture becomes stiff and glossy.
    Beat in cornstarch, then vinegar and vanilla.
