Italian Christmas Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium-size firm bananas, peeled and sliced
    1 c. sliced, seedless green grapes
    2 c. (16 oz.) sour cream
    1 c. coarsely chopped maraschino cherries
    1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. grated fresh lemon peel
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Pour into a 2-quart shallow casserole dish or mold, lightly coated with a nonstick vegetable spray. Freeze overnight.
    Let stand at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes before serving. You can unmold it onto a serving plate if desired.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
