Cereal Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 c. corn flakes
3 1/2 c. crispy rice cereal
2 c. salted peanuts
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. heavy cream
1 c. light syrup

Preparation

In large bowl, combine cereals and peanuts and set aside.
In a large pan, combine sugar, cream and syrup and bring to a boil and cook to soft ball stage (236\u00b0).
Pour over cereal mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
Press mixture into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cut into squares.
Yield: 48 pieces.
