Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. pecans
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    3 eggs, well-beaten
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Mix sugar, syrup and butter; add eggs, vanilla and pecans. Fill unbaked pie shell with mixture.
    Place in 350\u00b0 oven; lower heat to 325\u00b0 and cook 50 to 60 minutes or until set.
