Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1 lb. box powdered sugar
    1 pt. whiskey
    1 qt. cream
    1 qt. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until lemon yellow. Add sugar gradually.
    Beat whiskey in gradually.
    Stir in cream and milk.
    Beat egg whites; stir into mixture. Add vanilla. Nutmeg to taste (optional).
    Let stand overnight.
    Makes 4 quarts.
