Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
14 oz. caramels
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
Pour 1/2 of batter into a prepared 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Combine butter, milk and caramels.
Heat until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth.
Pur over baked cake.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Top with remaining batter and bake 20 minutes or until done.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cooled.
