Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c shortening
2 c buttermilk
1 pkg dry yeast
1/2 c warm water
5 c flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3 Tbsp sugar
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients and shortening together, add buttermilk. Dissolve yeast in the 1/2 c warm water.
Add to dry ingredients. Work dough and knead.
Roll out for biscuits.
Let rise on baking sheet 1/2 hour before baking.
Bake at 450 degrees until golden brown on top.
