Mom'S Rum Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light cream
    2 Tbsp. rum
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in small saucepan.
    Bring just to boiling over medium heat.
    Reduce heat and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in rum, vanilla and nutmeg. Great over apple pie.
