Flaky Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Stir together dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening to size of coarse crumbs.
    Add milk all at once.
    Stir with fork until dough clings together.
    Knead dough on lightly floured surface 10 to 12 strokes.
    Roll or pat dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
