1-2-3-4 Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each addition.
    Add vanilla.
    Add the soda to the buttermilk and let rise a bit.
    Add this alternately with flour and salt. Beat well.
    Grease and flour 1 tube pan; bake at 325\u00b0 until lightly browned or done, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
