Make Ahead Creamy Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes
    2 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. butter
    paprika
Preparation
    Cook potatoes with 1 teaspoon salt until tender.
    (Peel if desired.)
    Drain well.
    Mash potatoes with masher until smooth. Add cream cheese, 4 tablespoons butter, garlic salt, pepper and remaining 1 teaspoon salt.
    Mix until smooth.
    Gradually add heavy cream, mixing until smooth.
    Turn potato mixture into 13 x 9-inch pan.
    (Bake at once or refrigerate overnight.)
    Dot top of potatoes with 2 tablespoons butter and paprika.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes; increase to 375\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes more.
