Ingredients

1/2 lb. margarine
1/2 lb. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. flour
1 lb. dates, cooked with 1 c. water
1 c. nuts
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix margarine, cream cheese and flour to make dough.
Cook dates with 1 cup water, stirring until thick, to make filling.
Add nuts and sugar to date mixture.
Roll out dough and cut with biscuit cutter.
Place filling on circle.
Fold in half and seal with fork.
Dip in sugar.
Bake on middle shelf for 20 minutes.
