Hershey'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. flour, sifted
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3 sticks oleo, divided
12 Tbsp. Hershey's syrup, divided (canned kind)
3/4 c. water
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sweet milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix in large bowl, flour, sugar and baking soda.
In saucepan, mix 2 sticks oleo, 6 tablespoons chocolate syrup and water.
Bring to a boil and set aside.
In large measuring cup, beat (with fork) eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
Add chocolate mixture to flour mixture and stir in eggs, etc.
No need for electric mixer.
A big spoon is fine.
Pour into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 about 35 minutes.
