Beans And Franks Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans Campbell's home style beans
    1 can Campbell's pork and beans
    2 pkg. cocktail franks (Kahn's, Hebrew National, etc.)
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1/3 c. maple syrup (Aunt Jemima lite is okay)
    1/2 lb. bacon (optional)
    1 c. diced green pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Drain liquid from the 3 cans of beans and put in large rectangular (glass) baking dish.
    To beans, add dry mustard, ketchup, maple syrup (and optional diced green pepper, if desired).
    Mix well.
    At this point, lay slices of cooked bacon strips on top of beans, if desired.
    Line up cocktail franks like little soldiers.
