Homemade Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced peaches
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine peaches and 1 cup of sugar. Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
    Combine remaining ingredients; mix until all lumps are gone.
    Pour over margarine. Spoon fruit on top of batter.
    Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
    Serve warm with cream, milk or whipped cream.
