Hot Dog Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large onions
2 Tbsp. shortening or oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

Peel onions and chop very fine.
Heat shortening in large skillet and cook onions until limp.
Add ground beef; cook until brown.
Put through food processor (meat should be ground very fine).
Combine with remaining ingredients.
Cook over low heat 20 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
Serve with hot dogs and onions.
May be frozen.
