Grandma'S Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. butter flavoring extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar, eggs and shortening.
    Add flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, buttermilk, extract and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Delicious with icing or without, served with applesauce, fresh strawberries or peaches. Also good just plain.
