Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place butter and vanilla in bowl.
    Blend about 2 minutes with mixer.
    Gradually add 3/4 cup sugar; continue beating for 1 minute.
    Add eggs; beat for 30 seconds.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Gradually add dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed, about 1 minute.
    Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheets, about 3 inches apart.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
    Sprinkle with sugar while still hot.
