Apple Pie(Kansas City Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples (Jonathans or Granny Smiths)
    juice of 1 orange
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    pastry (for 9-inch 2 crust pie)
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples into large bowl.
    Sprinkle orange juice and lemon rind over apples.
    Mix together flour, 1 cup sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Pour over apples and mix well.
    Turn into pastry-lined pie pan.
    Dot with butter.
    Cover with top crust which has slits in it.
    Seal and flute edges.
    Mix together the sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated) and 1 tablespoon sugar. Brush entire mixture over crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown.
