Breakfast Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices thin white bread
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 lb. sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
    4 eggs, beaten
    3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Trim bread.
    Butter one side of bread.
    Put 2 layers bread, sausage and cheese.
    Pour milk-egg mixture over layer.
    Use spatula to push down until milk comes to top.
    Cover tightly.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
