Cabbage And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1 medium onion, sliced thinly
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced fine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. hot pepper flakes
    1 head green cabbage, chopped
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In large saucepan, saute onion, garlic, salt and pepper.
    Add chopped cabbage and stir.
    Cover and simmer over low heat, about 1 hour or until cooked.
    Combine cabbage mixture with hot cooked rice.
    Sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese.
    Serves 4.
