Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
1 c. light Brer Rabbit molasses
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. ginger
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl.
Add eggs and molasses and beat together for one minute.
Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Bake in moderate oven of 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or a nondairy topping.
