Layered Strawberry-Cracker Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (8 serving size) strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
    1 pt. strawberries
    2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    3 1/2 c. Cool Whip
    18 graham cracker squares
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Add cold water.
    Chill until slightly thickened.
    Meanwhile, slice berries, reserving a few whole berries for garnish.
    Sprinkle sliced berries with sugar.
    Fold whipped topping into Jell-O.
    Blend well.
    Fold in sliced berries.
